Muskegon Fury
Muskegon, a community in western Michigan, has a rich hockey history dating back to the 1930s. The Muskegon Fury, with an angry whirlwind of a mascot, joined the UHL in 1992. They had a considerable amount of success, winning four league titles in 15 seasons. After being sold in 2008, the squad was renamed the Lumberjackets and dissolved after two seasons. The team's alumni include Bruce Boudreau, Bill Stewart, and Steve Ludzik, all of whom became NHL coaches.
