Thetford Mines Canadiens
The Thetford Mines Canadiens were a junior 'A' team hailing from Thetford Mines, Quebec. The team played in the Quebec Junior A League (QJAHL) from 1966-69. Two thirds of the Buffalo Sabres' french connection line played for the Canadiens! Both Rick Martin and Gilbert Perreault played for the team. Perreault played for them in 1966-67 and notched 63 points in 45 games, while Martin played for them the following season and had 70 points in 47 games.
