Abbotsford Flyers

The Abbotsford Flyers were a junior 'A' team from Abbotsford, British Columbia that played from 1976 to 1985 in the British Columbia Junior Hockey League (BCJHL).

The Flyers were fairly successful and made the playoffs most seasons, but they had an epic run in 1982-83. They won the BCJHL going away with an impressive 49-6-1 record. They went on to win the provincial junior 'A' title (the Mowat Cup), the Alberta/British Columbia championship, and the Abbott Cup as Western Canada junior 'A' champions. They finally fell in the national final, swept by the North York Rangers in the Centennial Cup series.

The Flyers moved to Delta, British Columbia in 1985 and folded in 1988.
