Granby Predateurs
The Granby Predateurs were a major junior hockey team from Granby, QC, from 1995-97. They played at the Arena Leonard Grondin. The team had previously been called the Granby Bisons. The Predateurs wore a fierce dragon logo, which is one of the most unique hockey logos we've seen.
The Predateurs played two seasons, and were very successful on the ice. In their first season of 1995-96, they won 56 of 70 games and went on to win the Memorial Cup. The team was coached by future NHL head coach Michel Therrien. Unfortunately, they would move to Cape Breton, NS, after their second season.
