Cornwall Aces
The Cornwall Aces were a minor league hockey team who played at Ed Lumley Arena in Cornwall, Ontario. Originally known as the Halifax Citadels, they relocated to Cornwall for the 1993-1994 season and lasted only three seasons before dissolving.
Despite their brief existence, the Aces were a successful team on the ice, winning two division titles in three seasons. They also made the playoffs all three seasons, twice reaching the third round. The squad produced a number of major leaguers, most notably Garth Snow, Jocelyn Thibault, and Stephane Yelle. Bob Hartley and Jacques Martin would also coach them.
