Beauport Harfangs
The Beauport Harfangs were a major junior hockey team from 1990-97, and they played at Aréna Marcel Bédard in Beauford, QC. The team played seven successful seasons in Beauport, including a run to the playoff final in 1995-96 when the team was coached by Alain Vigneault. That season the team won 37 of 70 games and featured future NHLers such as Eric Belanger, Yannick Tremblay, and Martin Biron. Other big leagues such as Simon Gagne, Eric Daze, and Matt Barnaby also played for the Harfangs in other years. The team relocated to Quebec City in 1997.
