Peoria Prancers History

The Peoria Prancers were an IHL franchise that existed from 1982 to 1984. They were in the IHL for two seasons, earning a disappointing 54-82-19 record. After the 1983-84 season, the franchise was returned to the IHL, who renamed the team the Peoria Rivermen, a name they would keep until 1996, when they relocated to San Antonio. Despite their brief life, the Prancers left behind one of the most original hockey logos you'll ever see.
