Flint Bulldogs
For the 1991-92 season, the Flint Bulldogs joined the CoHL (later the UHL), filling the hole left in Flint pro hockey when the Flint Spirits relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana, a year earlier. The Bulldogs would only be in Flint for a short time. The squad finished 20-37-3 and missed the playoffs in their inaugural season. In their second year, they would finish the season with a record of 27-29-0-3-1 and would be eliminated in the first round. The Bulldogs relocated to Utica for the 1993-94 campaign before being taken over by the league and closing their doors.
Fun Fact: Marty Howe (one of Gordie's sons) appeared in three games with the Bulldogs in 1992-93. He had retired in 1985, therefore this was most likely a promotional appearance.
