Louisville IceHawks

Broadbent Arena was the home of the Louisville IceHawks from 1990 until 1994. The club drew around 3-4,000 fans per game and were quite successful on the ice. In their inaugural season, 1990-91, they finished 31-29-0-4 and entered the playoffs, falling in the semifinals to Greensboro. Year two was even better, as they advanced all the way to the championship game before falling to Hampton Roads. After two more seasons in the Bluegrass, the club would relocate to Jacksonville, Florida.
