I haven't received the discount code for joining your mailing list. What should I do?

Once you complete the registration process, the code will be sent to the phone number provided. It should arrive within a minute or two. In case you don't receive it, please check your spam folder for emails originating from an @vintageicehockey.com email address. Occasionally, our automated emails may not reach you if you are using an address other than Google, Yahoo, or Hotmail. If you still haven't received the email, please inform us, and we will ensure you receive the discount, even if you have already placed the order.

I placed an order and was charged but have not received any order confirmations. What gives?

Our system automatically sends an email confirmation for every order and a second email when the order ships. Many times our emails are blocked or routed to your spam/junk folder. Please check those places as that is likely where the emails are going if you haven't received them in your inbox. If you still have no luck finding our emails, you can email us at canada@vintageicehockey.com or message us on Facebook to confirm your order. When you send an email to us through your email service, that lets your email service know we are legit, which should correct the issue. 

What does shipping cost and how fast is it?

We operate as a print-on-demand store, meaning we produce your products once your order is received. For t-shirts and hoodies, our expected delivery time within Canada is 6-10 business days as the shirts ship from our printing partner in Vancouver. At this time, we do not offer express shipping. 

For jerseys, in-stock jerseys will ship from the US within 48 hours of order receipt but may take 2-3 weeks to arrive. For pre-order jerseys, they will ship near the expected shipment date on the product page. Generally, this is 8-12 weeks after pre-orders close. Please note, import duties may be charged by the carrier upon delivery for jersey orders. 

What brands do you use and how is apparel printed?

In our store, every item is produced on demand, which means we only print and manufacture items once an order is placed. All t-shirts and hoodies are printed and shipped from in Vancouver by Raincoast Digital. We do not ship apparel across the border to provide better service (no custom fees, delays, etc). The apparel we use for printing our designs is sourced from reputable brands like ATC and Bella + Canvas. For more specific information about the garment used for each item, you can refer to the product description or consult our size chart, which includes detailed product descriptions.

Will my item look exactly like the picture? 

When you order a shirt or hoodie, it won't be an exact replica of the picture but it will be very close. This is because we don't print any items until an order is placed, so the images displayed on our website are digital representations of what the final product will resemble. The actual printing may vary slightly depending on factors like the complexity of the design and the specific garment material or color used. We make every effort to match the mockup as closely as possible.

What is the difference between "premium" and regular t-shirts?  

We know that different people have different preferences, and to that end we offer two different kinds of t-shirts, standard and "premium lightweight".

Standard or non-premium t-shirts, which arc The Authentic T-Shirt Company (ATC) tees known for their heavy and thick feel. These shirts are popular among customers who prefer a robust and sturdy t-shirt. Although they are not explicitly labeled as standard or non-premium, you can identify them as they won't include the term 'premium' in the title. They are also available in a wide range of colors and sizes up to 4XL, making them quite versatile. However, based on customer feedback, we recognized there is signfiicant demand for thinner and lighter t-shirt options.

Premium lightweight t-shirts are made from 100% cotton and are  Bella + Canvas 3001 brand, which is highly sought after in the apparel industry for its light and soft characteristics. We have recently added this premium option for every graphic design on our site, ensuring that each graphic tee has both a standard and premium Bella + Canvas alternative. If you prefer a lighter and thinner feel in your t-shirts, we recommend grabbing a "premium lightweight" shirt.

    The designs look way too big for the shirts in the pictures. Is that how it will really print?  

    No, the images displayed on our website are digital mockups and do not precisely depict the exact print area of the designs. When printed, the designs will have a length of approximately 10 or 11 inches on the longest side, which is a typical size for shirts. It's important to note that the print area does not scale proportionally with different sizes. This means that the inch print area will remain relatively consistent across various sizes, from medium to 3XL. As a result, the designs will appear relatively smaller as you go up in size.

    How do I know that what I order will fit me? 

    To assist you in determining the right fit for our products, we recommend utilizing our size chart. It will provide you with a helpful reference to estimate the appropriate size. However, if you receive a product that doesn't fit as expected, please reach out to us, and we will guide you through the process. 

    Help! I made a mistake when I ordered. What should I do? 

    If you happen to place an order with an incorrect color or size, let us know as soon as possible. We are more than willing to accommodate changes for you, and there will be no additional charges involved. However, our orders typically proceed to the printing stage within a few hours of being received, so there is a limited window during which we can halt the printing process and modify your order. Please review your order confirmation and notify us as soon as possible of any changes.

    In the event that your order has already proceeded to the printing stage and cannot be edited or canceled, our standard return/exchange policy applies.

    What if I decide I don't want my item or need a different size? 

    We accept returns and exchanges of t-shirts, hoodies, and jerseys. Please refer to our return policy and contact our support staff to setup a return or exchange. 

    My order doesn't look right or was damaged during shipping. What do I do? 

    Occasionally, errors occur, including instances where we make mistakes or packages sustain damage during transit. If you encounter such a situation, please let us know and we will provide a replacement. For damaged items, we do require a picture showing the damage to process a return or replacement. Please contact support to setup a return or exchange of damaged items. 

    My shirt or hoodie has small stains on it. It's not a big deal but it's not ideal. What can you do? 

    Occasionally, you may notice small, greyish or clear stains on our apparel, which are remnants of the printing process. They should disappear after the first wash. However, if you find that the stains do not go away even after washing, please let us know and we can send out a replacement. 

    Do you ever add new teams? 

    We do! We add new designs all the time, usually from a team that isn't already on the site. When we do, we'll announce it on Twitter, Facebook, and notify everyone on our email list. 

    Can I request a specific team? 

    Certainly! We welcome requests and are genuinely interested in discovering new stories from hockey history that we may not have encountered before. You can reach out to us directly through our contact channels or share your suggestions with us on Twitter. However, we kindly ask for your patience as it may take us several months to fulfill specific team requests and make them available for sale. 

    Do you offer kids tees or hoodies?

    We are not offering kids tees or hoodies at this time through the website, but we may be able to setup a custom order for you. Please reach out to our support staff to determine available options.
