Buffalo Norsemen

Buffalo has a lengthy history of hockey dating back to the 1920s, and the Norsemen were only one year in that history. For the 1975-76 season, the club competed in the former NAHL at the Tonawanda Sports Center in North Tonawanda, New York. Despite the name, they did not play in Buffalo! The squad also had a one-of-a-kind emblem depicting a little viking. In their only season, the Norsemen went 30-44 and were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
