Moncton Beavers
The Moncton Beavers name has been used by several teams in Moncton over the years, dating back to the 1960s. In the early 1960s, the team competed in the Nova Scotia Senior League for a few seasons. The name was revived in the late 1970s for a team in New Brunswick Junior A, which is the team we are paying homage to with this design, featuring the crest they wore. These Beavers played for three seasons in the NBJHL. The Beavers name was once again revived in the 1990s and early 2000s by a team playing in the Maritime Junior A League. The more recent Beavers can boast Patrice Cormier as an NHL alum, as he played several seasons for the Winnipeg Jets and Atlanta Thrashers.
