Philadelphia Falcons
Following the Philadelphia Rockets folding after the 1941-42 season, the Philadelphia Falcons took over as the city's EAHL hockey club for 1942-43. The Falcons performed admirably, winning more than half of their games each season. After the 1945-46 season, the squad folded due to the outbreak of war. During this period, the Philadelphia Rockets would step in and play in the AHL. The Falcons returned to the ice after the war for the 1951-52 season, but the team disbanded in December 1952 owing to low attendance after only 25 games.
