Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies

The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies began play at the historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic CIty, NJ, for the 2001-02 season. They were the first team to inhabit Boardwalk Hall since the Atlantic City Sea Gulls in 1952.

The Bullies were immediately successful on the ice, as they won 42 and 41 games in their first two seasons, respectively. Their second season on the beach resulted in a league title, as they bested four teams to run through the playoffs unbeaten.

The Boardwalk Bullies would spend two more seasons on the Jersey Shore, and both were successful campaigns on the ice. The franchise would win 40+ games in each of their four seaons. Unfortunately, the team was not a huge financial success and the would be sold and moved to California after the 04-05 campaign.
