Guelph Biltmore Mad Hatters
The Guelph Biltmore Mad Hatters were a junior hockey team on and off from 1946 through 1975. The team played in the OHL from 1946-60 and won the 1952 Memorial Cup behind Andy Bathgate and Harry Howell, who went on to Hall of Fame careers. Jean Ratelle and Rod Gilbert also played for the Mad Hatters later in the 1950s. They were also OHL playoff champions three time. The original team went out of business in 1960. The name was revived form 1972-75 as a Junior A team.
