Dallas Texans
Pro hockey made its debut in Texas in late 1941, when the Dallas Texans and the Fort Worth Rangers joined the American Hockey Association (AHA). The Texans would win only 12 of 50 games their inaugural season, and their stint in the AHA would come to an end at the end of the season when the league folded. The team was resurrected in 1945-46 as a member of the USHL, where it spent four years.
