Vernon Lakers
The Vernon Lakers were a Junior A hockey team from Vernon, British Columbia from 1980-1995. They played in the BCJHL and were highly successful, winning three Abbott Cups as Western Canadian champs and two Centennial Cups as National Champions. A number of NHLers got their start with the Lakers including Dallas Drake, Murray Baron, and Glen Metropolit.
