Langley Lords

The Langley Lords were the first junior hockey team to call Langley, British Columbia, their home as they started play in the BCJHL for the 1973-74 season. They were an impressive 38-24-2 in their first season. The team would find success in most of their seasons and produced a number of future NHLers including longtime New York Ranger Barry Beck, and Ryan Walter who played over 1,000 NHL games. After five seasons, the Lords rebranded to the Langley Canadians. They would last one more season as the Canadians before folding.
